Dobranotch Russia

Sunday September 2 , 11:00pm - 12:30am
Brigantine Room

Russia’s Dobranotch performs its own irreverent brand of Jewish, Gypsy and Balkan music, drawing on the band’s deep knowledge of traditions and rich experience traveling and interacting with musicians from different countries. The band’s repertoire also includes Russian songs of the golden age of brass bands. Featuring many of the leading players in Russia’s post-Soviet Jewish music renaissance, the St. Petersburg-based Dobranotchhas toured across more than twenty countries and recorded seven albums. Their music can be heard in TV series, feature films and documentaries.
